Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public hearing on property owned by John Paul Ricks. The Board rejected a request by Lee Abraham to rezone some unused industrial property for the purposes of putting in low income housing. The Board voted to give a grant to the Browning Progressive League to support the Annual Labor Day Festival. A discussion of the annual budget took place.
