The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation from Lise Foy concerning the lighting of the Court House for Christmas. Tax Collector Sara Kenwright presented the official insolvency report for property taxes. The Board approved the "drug-free workplace" policy. Several matters relating to the Viking Dishwasher project were disposed of. The Board approved the final amended budget for the previous fiscal year.
