The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved increasing the compensation of Tax Assessor Leroy Ware for the extra work involved in appraising the property within the city of Greenwood. A movie location agreement was approved. The resolution reauthorizing the Greenwood-Leflore Airport Board was taken under advisement. Unused mobile radios were given to the Carroll County School District.
