Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a request from Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams to lease the former Highway Patrol building for use by the police department while renovations are taking place at city hall. Greenwood Leflore Hospital administrator Jimmy Jackson presented the Board with a proposal for a line of credit for financing future operations, which the Board approved. The Board went into executive session to discuss litigation and potential litigation.
