Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a zoning variance hearing for Paul Neuner. Beth Stevens presented the Chamber of Commerce request for funding for the Christmas parade. Brantley Snipes brought several matters from Main Street, including the purchase of the old Antoon Department Store building using the Revolving Real Estate Fund. Lee Abraham presented some land development needs at the Itta Bena Industrial Park.
