Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard from two Itta Bena Alderman about the failure of the town to pay for services provided by the county. The dispute between the Aldermen and Mayor Thelma Collins was aired, but no solutions were discovered. Ed Hargett delivered his quarterly report concerning the jail.
