The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board was addressed by County Court Judge Kevin Adams about aspects of the Juvenile Detention Facility. The Greenwood Chamber of Commerce requested the Board up its membership level and dues. Ed Hargett presented his prison consulting update and contract for renewal.
