The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Congressman Bennie Thompson's new field representative introduced himself to the Board. The Board approved a renewal of the Golden Age Nursing Home's lease. Another discussion took place about collecting overdue Justice Court fines. A discussion of garbage at the Little Round Park took place. The engineer discussed a request from C-Spire for a right-of-way to lay fiber. The Road Manager presented several personnel and pay requests.
