Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a request from Hope Credit to utilize space in the county's incubator building. Ed Hargett presented a report on health care services for the jail. The Board went into closed session to discuss the letter from Mayor Carolyn McAdams which might involve litigation. The Board tabled the matter until further information is received. The Board approved the burial of the unclaimed body of Charles Wise.
