Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board of Supervisors held its second meeting for February. Angela Curry presented a contract for a prospect for the incubator building. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss the contract. CareMed came before the Board to discuss ambulance service for Leflore County. A proposal from Parkwood Behavioral Health System to provide mental health services to the detention facility was discussed. The jail contract with the state was discussed. Agricultural leases and eminent domain were discussed.
