The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held its regular Week 4 meeting. Arts Place requested a sponsorship. Larresia Hunt, Justice Court Clerk, announced her retirement. The Board discussed the ambulance service and who to contract with for the upcoming contract term. The Board approved the purchase of a new K-9 dog for the Sheriff's department. The county jail was discussed. The County's debt/financial account was discussed. The Board discussed the bid specs for the new trucks to be purchased.
