The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for an emergency road and bridge repair project. The Board discussed a dispute with BFC Solutions regarding unpaid invoices for HVAC filter service. The Road Manager appeared to obtain approval to purchase a Caterpillar wheel loader and five Kenworth T880 tractor trucks. The rail crossings at Sidon and Money were also discussed. The Board went into executive session to discuss a personnel matter but no action was taken.
