| Veterans Memorial from Greenwood Landmarks |

During the mid 1990's, under the inspiration of Mr. Marsh Pickett, the community financed and erected a monument to Leflore County, Mississippi veterans. The monument was donated by Mr. Jimmy Henderson, a local real estate developer. The apron surrounding the monument is paved with memorial bricks, each engraved with the name of a local veteran. |
