The Leflore County Democratic Executive Committee held a public meeting in the Leflore County Courthouse. Committee member Dr. Duane Hurt brought forward a complaint about racial discrimination in the makeup of the committee. Much of the meeting was consumed by Chairman Tyree Irving demanding that The Taxpayers Channel not be allowed to cover the event.
