The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for the contract to update the tax assessment land rolls. The Board also received and accepted the bids for routine fuel purchases. The Board accepted a listing of junked equipment for removal from the official county inventory. The Board gave its approval for the Greenwood-Leflore Hospital to purchase a doctors' office for its own use. Justice Court Judges Larry "Blue" Neal and Jim Campbell appeared before the Board to support a pay increase for the County Prosecutor.
