The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public hearing for a CDBG Grant to upgrade the sewer system of the East Leflore Water Association. The Board entertained a request from a home owner for the placement of a four-way stop sign at an intersection next to his home and shop in the county.
