The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed the unexpected increase in cost to rehab a county building that was damaged by arson, the new costs incurred due to the requirement that the renovations meet ADA standards. The Board received a petition to post stop signs at a dangerous county road intersection. At a later meeting, the Board declined to comply with the residents' request.
