The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board voted to lease-purchase five new road graders and sell six old ones at an auction; authorized the Board Attorney to take action to alleviate a mosquito hazard at Blue Lake; approved a donation to the July 4th festival; voted to terminate Yolanda Jones, a recent hire for the Juvenile Detention facility; authorized the attorney to work out a settlement with Roy Collins Construction over a disputed utility bill for the Incubator project building; and heard a complaint from Durham Auctioneers, who claimed that they were not told when to submit a bid for the auction services the county engaged earlier in the meeting.
