The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held public hearings on several pieces of dilapidated property. Linda Pace presented a plea for an office facility for use by the Family First program and related student and family services. The Board voted to apply for additional grants to cover part of the cost of storm shelters. A plat for a new subdivision in North Greenwood was discussed and tabled for further consideration. The Board voted to accept a settlement proposal in its lawsuit with MDEZA.
