The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board received a plaque of appreciation from the Morgan City Outreach organization. A CDBG hearing was held on a Viking project. Itta Bena Mayor Thelma Collins appeared to request help with various city projects. The Board received the construction plans for the new Jail Annex facility. The Board took action to equalize the land tax rolls and open them for public comment. County Court Judge Solomon Osborne appeared to inform the board he intends to sign a Court Order reinstating Yolanda Jones as an employee of the youth detention facility in charge of education planning. The Board made an appointment to the East Leflore Water Board. The Board heard a presentation from Ivory Williams of the Mississippi Center for Technology Transfer. The Board approved AFLAC as the administrator of the cafeteria plan for county employees.
