The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public hearing for property owned by John Paul Ricks. Officials of Noramec announced the results of their first month's collection work for the Justice Court. Bill Crump of Viking Range came to request the Board adopt various Memoranda of Understanding regarding the new dish washer facility to be built. County Court Judge Solomon Osborne appeared in reference to his Court Order rehiring Yolanda Jones, whom the Board had previously terminated due to failure to fulfill the drug testing requirements. Mr. Wolfe moved that the Board appeal the Judge's order, but his motion died for lack of a second. The Board voted to comply with the order, with Mr. Wolfe voting against the resolution. The Board voted to pay the architectural firm McElroy Ward & Associates the sum of $102,686.20. The Board received the 2005-2006 budget for the Leflore County Schools. The Board voted to clean up Blue Lake. Appointments to the East Leflore Water Board were made. The Board voted to borrow $350,000 to finance new equipment for the Civic Center, with Mr. Wolfe voting against the Resolution. The Board approved several Budget Amendments.
