The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board received bids for the new Sheriff's Annex to the Jail. The bids came in around a million dollars over budget. The Board reviewed the disallowed Homestead Exemption list, but took no action. The Board heard a presentation regarding the County's liability insurance. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss an employee of the North Central Narcotics Task Force.
