Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board received bids for various emergency response items. The Board refused the request of Sam Leach to close a road, which had been requested due to unauthorized dumping near Mr. Leach's property. Leflore County Court Judge Solomon Osborne made a presentation relating to the Juvenile Detention Center. NCPDD representative Steve Russell brought requests for the Wildwood Gin project before the Board. Various budget amendments were adopted. The Board received a report from County Engineer Jack Willis.
