The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board accepted bids for computer and related services for the mapping department and tax assessor's office. Barbara Ingram made a presentation relating to the lighting of the court house for Christmas. NCPDD representative Steve Russell presented resolutions relating to the Wildwood Gin project. A discussion was held regarding the payment of certain invoices for the Juvenile Detention Facility. The Holiday Schedule for county employees was adopted. A salary increase was adopted for hourly and salaried employees of the county. The Board heard a complaint from Shirley Hodges regarding the paving of various roads in District 4.
