The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a dilapidated property hearing. NCPDD's Steve Russell presented some business relating to the Viking Range project. Melon Garret of the Santec landfill management company make a presentation. T. W. Cooper presented several items relating to Emergency Response. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss the landfill management contract.
