The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation from Bill Clay relating to a summer youth league. David Fondren presented two requests for zoning variances. Cablesouth Media presented its request to use county right-of-way for the laying of fibre optic cable. Bobby Norwood requested that the county recognize the Leflore County Dive Team. Several matters relating to the Viking Dishwasher Plant grants were approved. Solid Waste Management's Sid Peacock presented a new guideline for rubbish collection in the county. The Board went into Executive Session to discuss matters relating to the Airport.
