The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held its required public hearing on the budget and tax levy. The Board then adopted the 2007 fiscal year budget and the property tax levy. Public hearings were held on various pieces of dilapidated property. Ricky Mooneyham from CableSouth Media appeared to discuss the use of county right-of-way for the burial of fibre optic cabling. The Board approved an Ambulance Service Agreement. Appointments were made to the Business Manufacturing Development Center Board.
