The Council held its monthly Dilapidated Housing hearing. The Council debated competing resolutions on the method of placing confirmations on the Council's agenda. The Council received pre-clearance from the Justice Department for the special election for Mayor that was just concluded. The Council received the certification of the election of Sheriel F. Perkins as Mayor of Greenwood. A Resolution appropriating $12,500 to Main Street was approved. The firm of Killebrew and Moss was re-appointed as the city auditor.
