The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for garbage trucks. A request was heard to sponsor the Fannie Lou Hamer Legacy. Approval of an interlocal agreement relating to the Narcotics Task Force was taken up. Salary increases for county employees were approved.
