The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board approved travel for Cathy Jones to a conference in Kentucky. Several employment changes were also approved. The Board voted to increase court staff salaries. The Board voted to hire Willie Perkins to represent the County in the suit against it brought by the estate of Willie C. English, Jr.
