The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

A public hearing was held regarding closing a portion of County Road 540. The Board voted to donate industrial property for a Highway Patrol district station. The close-out documents for the ECD takeover of the Community Investment Bank were approved.
