The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed the Normac collection situation. Normac has collected fines payable to Justice Court but has not turned the money over to the county yet. The Board voted to transfer $4,322,527.84 from the MDCIIC community investment bank fund to ECD, the new bank management firm. Mr. Wolfe cast the lone vote against the transfer. The Board reviewed with the County Administrator the current and upcoming fiscal year budgets.
