The Board discussed cost overruns by the Juvenile Detention Facility, and how much it is costing per child-day to operate the facility. Discussion regarding a rate increase on fees to hold juveniles took place. Sam Abraham informed the Board that he does not believe the county's E-911 system is receiving its full share of fees collected to support the system. The County has been forced to subsidize the cost of maintaining the E-911 system, which is supposed to be paid for by telecom fees.
