The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held public hearings on several dilapidated properties. Bardin Redditt, Airport Director, presented various matters relating to the airport budget, and requested the Board approve payment of local match money for a $600,000 grant which the airport board will apply for. Sidon mayor Fannie Gordan requested a $2,000 sponsorship for a city event. The Board approved the final amendments for the outgoing fiscal year's budget. The Board approved paying to advertise for the unclaimed body of Charlie Riley.
