The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

Bids for various services were opened. NCPDD's Steve Russell brought three items relating to the Grain Terminal project. The request by the Greenwood Leflore Hospital Board to purchase the old WABG television station property for administrative offices was tabled for further study. Revision of the county Hog Ordinance was also tabled until the entire Board could be present. A Resolution honoring Cedell Pulley was adopted. The Board voted to lease the old Florewood State Park for the county's use. Surety bonds for various county officials were approved.
