The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board met to organize itself and make appointments. Wayne Self (District 4) was elected Board President and Phil Wolfe (District 1) was elected Vice-president. Joyce Chiles of Itta Bena was appointed Board Attorney. Sam Abraham was re-appointed County Administrator. Most of the other prior road and department heads were also reappointed. The time for holding board meetings was moved to 5 p.m. on the first, third and fourth Mondays of the month.
