The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board met on Thursday because most supervisors were in Washington DC on the previous Monday for a national county government associational meeting. The Board approved a contract with Circuit Clerk Trey Evans relating to transport and programming of the voting machines for the upcoming primary elections. The Board voted to approve purchasing new vehicles for two supervisors. The county's Public Records access policy was discussed. The March 2008 Docket of Claims was approved.
