The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board voted to subordinate its interest in the land for the grain terminal so that the developers can obtain additional financing. An appointment to the Convention and Recreation Board was approved. The Board adopted a Public Records Access policy.
