The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed bids for bridge repair on County Road 35. The Board approved the purchase by the Hospital of the old WABG TV building. Architects for courthouse renovation and work on the old library building were approved. The Board transferred Jan Rias to serve as the receptionist at the Business Incubator. The Board voted to approve going forward with a bond issue to pay for roads and equipment. The Board voted not to spend money for a large spread in the Supervisors magazine. The Board discussed the problem of collecting the rent payments from Doyle Land Company which has been using the Business Incubator.
