Leflore County Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public hearing on the future of the C&G Railroad. Carter Gaston's property was again discussed. Sid Peacock led a discussion of the proposed changes in the Solid Waste Ordinance. The upkeep and upgrade for the tornado sirens was considered.
