The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board handled several items brought by NCPDD's Mary Howard. Sid Peacock led a discussion about cleanup of a property off Highway 49. Robert Fitzpatrick, Juvenile Detention Facility director, presented his request to hire more part-time workers. Several requests to use county parks were approved.
