The Board heard a report from Larry Griggs about the Blues Concert that the county sponsored. The Board tabled a request for property tax exemption by the Exchange Club Youth Baseball Foundation. The Board agreed to accept interns from the Arbor South Delta Region. A long discussion took place regarding the proposal by the Airport Board to reclassify 7.5 acres of the Airport as non-aeronautical. Concern focused on the negative effect this would have on Vernon Ricks Jr., a long-time airport tenant whose hanger lies in the midst of the proposed change.
