The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board held a public hearing on the Express Grain project. The Board appointed a Special Prosecutor to handle cases in Justice Court brought against Robert Moore and Carlos Palmer. A discussion took place regarding the unpaid rental fees of Three Rivers EDC. Some salary adjustments were approved. The Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday schedule was approved.
