The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for the Viking Range frontage road improvement project. Several matters relating to the Express Grain terminal were disposed of. The Tax Collector, Sara Kenwright, asked approval to hire Tammie Liddle to replace an employee who is retiring. The Board rejected Robert Moore's request that the Board pay for his attorney in the George Dulin race discrimination lawsuit against himself and the Hospital board.
