The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board finally approved re-leasing the old Howard Brothers building for use by the Department of Human Services. Pastor Albert Lott presented his request to use the old Vo-Tech building which the county owns. The Board ratified some new hires by the North Central Mississippi Narcotics Task Force.
