The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for several pieces of road equipment. Many items relating to the 2007 Home Grant were taken up with NCPDD. Steve Russell also presented several items relating to the Express Grain Terminal. An update was received on the Community Health Clinic initiative. A discussion of the MDCIIC bank took place. Matters relating to both the Drainage Board and the Water Management District Board were addressed.
