The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board opened bids for the GIS/Mapping software. It took up contracts to transfer ownership of several private water systems to East Leflore Water and Sewer System. An agreement was signed with MedStat EMS, Inc. to provide ambulance services to the county. The Town of Sidon requested assistance on its clean-up project. The Junk Car and Solid Waste Collection ordinances were discussed. The subject of applying for a recycling grant was discussed.
