The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board appointed Nick Chandler to the YMD Joint Water Management Board. The matter of the 2007 Home Grant contracts was taken up again. Emergency Management Director T. W. Cooper brought several items to the Board's attention.
