The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board discussed dilapidated property owned by Betty Cox, a former county election commissioner. She has failed to put siding on the structure for approximately three years now. Discussion was had regarding an irrigation system that crosses County Road 555. The county organizational chart was discussed. A recreational lease of 16th section land was approved. The Board approved the advertising for bids for work on the old Greenwood public library building.
