The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Leflore County. It consists of five members elected by the people every four years. The Board generally meets three times each month at the Court House.

The Board heard a presentation from Mississippi Delta Community College officials. Assistance was requested from the Levee Board for help cleaning up drainage ditches. County Court Judge Kevin Adams brought several matters relating to youth court before the Board. Sam Abraham discussed the county organizational chart with the supervisors. Several groups came asking for tax money to support their various events. A heated discussion took place regarding Supervisor Preston Ratliff's instructing the county road crew last weekend to clip grass on state right-of-ways on Highway 82 without Board approval.
